2 WEEK INSTRUMENT-MAKING COURSE
Personalized instrument-making sessions with luthier John Vergara in an exclusive one-on-one package. Designed for commuters who don’t need accommodation, this package offers a two-week, in-person workshop set amidst the stunning surroundings of Beacon, NY.
Students are expected to arrive on Sunday night before the Monday start of the workshop, with the sessions concluding on the second Saturday.
2 WEEK INSTRUMENT-MAKING COURSE WITH ACCOMMODATIONS
If you require accommodations, you have an option for an additional fee for a room with a shared bathroom and kitchen.
Please note that transportation and meals are your responsibility. You will receive transportation to the shop as needed.
CRAFTED TO FIT: LUTHIERY ON YOUR SCHEDULE
Crafting an instrument over two weeks may pose challenges for some individuals. Therefore, we provide a flexible course that accommodates your schedule. With a duration of six months to complete, you have the freedom to book your sessions at your convenience, allowing you to pursue your passion for instrument-making at your own pace and on your own time.
There are 12 working days to make a quality instrument, and you have 6 months to schedule and complete the course.
Consultation and Mentorship
Are you stuck? Don’t know how to begin? Keep getting bad results with a particular task in the building? Do you want to know a better way to go about a particular task?
John Vergara offers one-on-one consultation and mentorship for your specific instrument-making needs. This includes guitar, oud, and Puerto Rican cuatro. Sessions are $150 for an hour and are held on Zoom. Contact us if interested in a one-on-one.
